Motofierastraiele cu acumulator sau drujbele cu acumulator Makita, Bosch, Dewalt, etc, sunt din ce in ce mai preferate, atat de profesionistii in constructii (dulgherie), cat si de persoanele fizice pentru utilizare casnica.
Taierea lemnelor de foc sau a materialelor de constrctii din lemn se face usor, rapid, precis si fara noxe. Se elimina astfel atat poluarea fonica a motorului termic, cat si poluarea cu noxe.
