Istoria Rothenberger incepe cu inginerul Edwin Rothenberger care a fondat compania la 24 mai 1949 in Frankfurt - Main. Gama de produse a inclus la inceput, scule, masini si tehnologie de sudare, iar imbinarea tevilor a fost punctul central al activitatii de afaceri.
